High-Level Summary Diagram of the Program Plan

The graphic is a high-level summary diagram of the Program Plan.

The entire project plan spans from the fourth quarter of FY 2004 through the fourth quarter of FY 2011. The Stakeholder Working Group exists throughout the project plan. Standards Completion and Deployment also lasts throughout the entire project plan.

The first phase, Foundational Research, begins in the last quarter of FY 2004 and runs through FY 2006.

Development Feasibility decision point occurred in September/October of FY 2005/FY 2006.

Phase 2: Corridor Tools, Strategies, and Integration begins in the second quarter of fiscal year 2006 and runs through the end of the initiative in FY 2011.

In the third quarter of FY 2006 begins Stage 1 of Phase 3: ICM Pioneer Site Concept of Operations and Requirements, which runs through the first quarter of FY 2008. Site Applications Feasibility decision point occurs in December of FY 2007.

Stage 2 of Phase 3, called Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation of selected Pioneer Sites, begins in the second quarter of FY 2008 and runs through the second quarter of FY 2009. Site Demonstrations Feasibility decision point occurs in February of FY 2009.

Stage 3 of Phase 3, called Pioneer Demonstration Sites, begins during the second quarter of FY 2009 and runs through the end of the initiative in FY 2011.

The final phase, Phase 4: Integrated Corridor Management Knowledge and Technology Transfer begins in FY 2005 and runs through the end of the initiative in FY 2011.
