7	ITS Strategic Planning Efforts Recently completed an update to the 2010-2014 Strategic Plan Continues progress on wireless connectivity theme Formalizes the 2013 and 2014 V2V agency decisions Elaborates on ITS research details and progress Initiating new 2014 - 2019 Strategic Planning Effort Required under MAP-21 Offers an opportunity to pursue new technological advancements DOT will engage in a formal stakeholder outreach process to collect ideas and input into the new strategic direction over the next year Plan is to publish a new Strategic Plan document in 2014 ITS Advisory Committee input will be essential to the success of this effort!
