Roundtable Discussion: Open Platform Concepts and Vehicle Infrastructure Integration

On August 5, the US Department of Transportation’s Volpe National Transportation Systems Center will host a roundtable discussion of Open Platform concepts and their implications for Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII). A number of experts with experience in developing open platform environments have been invited. In addition, this discussion will be open to others who wish to participate, either in person or by teleconference. Please note that participation in this roundtable is for the purpose of sharing information on open platforms and VII. Discussions on existing or anticipated procurement actions will not be addressed or open to exchange. This roundtable will be only one of several avenues to engage the community on discussion of this and related topics. All results will be posted to the VII website at www.vehicle-infrastructure.org.

Due to severe space limitations, in-person participation is limited to one individual per organization. RSVP is required by 12:00 Noon EST on Monday, August 4 for individuals attending in person. RSVP to Theresa Perrone at theresa.perrone@dot.gov. Due to security, participants will not be admitted without prior RSVP.

Teleconference participants do not need to RSVP. However, we ask that individuals calling in to the teleconference from the same site use a single line if possible to enable adequate teleconference capacity for all interested participants.
