Four-year timeline toward building and replicating a Traveler Management Coordination Center

The figure illustrates a four-year timeline toward building and replicating a Traveler Management Coordination Center.

The time span starts at the beginning of 2004 and ends at the beginning of 2008.

From 2004 through mid-2005, there will be Development of a Systematic Approach for Selecting Demonstration Sites as well as an Assessment of Technologies that Improve Accessibility.

From the end of 2004 to near the end of 2006, there will be a Conduction of field tests to determine the return on investment of various ITS applications that improve accessibility and human services transportation coordination.

From mid-2006 through mid-2007, there is Development of the "Traveler Management Coordination Center."

By the end of 2008, there should be a replicable "Traveler Management Coordination Center."
