inserted into vehicles during vehicle production at an OEM’s
factory

to proprietary data ports
□Can
provide highly accurate information from in-vehicle sensors
□Has a
working HMI
□Broadcasts
and receives SAE J2735 messages
□Can
process the content of received messages to provide warnings and/or
alerts to the driver of the vehicle in which installed
