A team of OEMs, US DOT
personnel, automotive suppliers and security experts have examined the technical feasibility and risks
associated with a security system for V2V warning-only applications, under a certain
set of assumptions. The proposed
security model
developed needs to be built and tested to validate the conclusions from this
study.
