The Everyday Counts
ASCT Initiative is a top down and bottom up approach to implementing
technologies consistent with the theme Better, Faster, Smarter. Technologies that save time, money and
improve safety and reduce congestion.
The FHWA Administrator conducted summits that engaged all 50 states,
Puerto Rico, Guam, VI. Each
organization developed an action plan describing which elements of EDC would
be pursued. FHWA Subject Matter
Experts followed up with states that selected ASCT as a priority, indicated
by the orange fill. Activities
included technology showcases, presentations at professional meetings and or
Systems engineering workshops.
