The Research and Innovative Technology Administration announced a Call for Abstracts for the National Transportation Workforce Summit to be held April 24-26, 2012 in Washington, DC. 

Abstracts from educators, researchers, practitioners and organizations are requested for presentations, papers and showcase displays on any discipline related to the transportation workforce.  For detailed information please see Call for Abstracts. The lead organizer is the Council of University Transportation Centers, with the Research and Innovative Technology Administration as a  co-sponsor. We are excited about the event which builds upon several years of dialog and interaction among many transportation, education and labor interests.
