The Office of Operations Research and Development (R&D) at Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC), McLean, Virginia, has the need for technical support to conduct research, development, test, and evaluation activities that meet the growing demands for smoother running transportation systems. Transportation operations research is in increasing demand due in large part to the ever increasing congestion in the US, and demand for better services to support the growth of the US economy. This Laboratory is intended to provide a state-of-the-art facility and multi-disciplinary, multi-modal, technical support by a skilled and diverse team of industry, public agencies, and academia.
