Current Research
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s ITS research focuses on several high-priority areas including Emerging and Enabling Technologies, Data Access and Exchanges, ITS Cybersecurity Research, Automation, ITS4US, and Accelerating ITS Deployment. The ITS Strategic Plan includes in-depth discussion of the ITS Program’s strategic goals, these research areas, and four technology transfer programs.

ITS Advisory Committee Members;
Enclosed are read ahead materials, including a detailed agenda and background materials for the March 13 Advisory Committee meeting.
Your Chair and Vice Chair recommend reading the materials in advance, as only summary information will be briefed during the actual meeting.
Please note that due to extenuating circumstances, some materials are not yet complete. Consequently, we will provide supplementary information by email on Monday.
The meeting will start promptly at 8:30 am. It will take some time to get through security so please plan accordingly. Further, as mentioned previously, we will have a group dinner Tuesday night at 6:30 pm for anyone interested. The location will be provided shortly. We look forward to seeing you next week.
