connected vehicle pilot deployment program is a national effort to integrate
connected vehicle research concepts into practical and effective elements,
enhancing existing operational capabilities. We have three awardees in this
|•NYCDOT Bar Appears. The NYC Pilot aims to improve
the safety of travelers and pedestrians in New York City through the
deployment of V2V and V2I connected vehicle technologies.
|•THEA Bar Appears. The safety focus of the Tampa
(THEA) Pilot is to use CV technology to reduce collisions, enhance pedestrian
safety, and reduce conflicts between street cars, pedestrians and passenger
cars at locations with high volumes of mixed traffic.
|•Wyoming Bar Appears. Currently, the Wyoming Pilot
focuses on truck safety along a freeway corridor, with aims of reducing the
number of blowover incidents and adverse weather related incidents.
