identified four districts – residential district, commercial district,
downtown district, and a logistics district, each with a different focus. For
example, the Pedestrian in Signalized Crosswalk Warnings application will
also be deployed in the residential district.

Columbus also proposed two pedestrian related projects:
|•Mobility Assistance for People with Disabilities project
will enable persons with cognitive disabilities to travel independently with
a mobile device-based application.
|•Transit Pedestrian Collision Avoidance System project
will help prevent collisions between transit vehicles and vulnerable road
