ITS4US DEPLOYMENT ACCELERATOR PROGRAM

Bringing American Innovation to Your Community

Coming Soon

ITS4US Deployment Accelerator Program is a new ITS JPO initiative, in coordination with FTA, to pilot systematically replicating successful technology deployments across multiple locations nationwide.

This project aims to significantly accelerate targeted follow-on deployments following the successful path charted by the ITS4US program sites.

This proposed effort will serve as a Proof-of-Concept that:

  • Leverages proven ITS technologies.
  • Provides knowledge and technical expertise of current deployers with future deployers.
  • Provides seed funding to replicate project with facilitated peer exchange.

Within this new program, USDOT plans to:

  • Release a solicitation in 2026.
  • Award up to 4 new sites with seed funding to rapidly replicate the HIRTA -- Health Connector project.
  • The approach includes establishing a cohort of deployers, awardees deploying in their communities within 12 months, and provide technical assistance from experts to assist.

Replicators will:

  • Propose a multi-disciplinary team that must include:
Mobility Services Operator/Provider
Software Integrator
Healthcare Partner (Public/Private)
  • Demonstrate their successful deployment within 12 months.
  • Publish changes and extensions of the Health Connector Middleware components (MOD-EHR, MOD-Medicaid, and HC-Kiosk) as open-source code on the ITS CodeHub.
  • Document effectiveness of support and artifacts provided by USDOT.

STAY TUNED FOR PLANNED 2026 SOLICITATION
